Our proofreading service offers a light read for obvious mistakes, formatting issues and awkward wording. It’s ideal for documents that have already been edited and are almost ready for publication. Proofreading gives you peace of mind that the last of the errors have been found and the document is polished and ready to be shared publicly.
Proofread or Copyedit?
If you’re not sure whether you need copyediting or proofreading, read our article on the difference between the two. A quality proofread will look for the occasional:
- formatting error
- missing image
- misplaced table
- incorrect caption
- spelling mistake
- punctuation issue
- grammar mistake.
If you need help with sentence structure or if there are still many errors in the text, you will likely need a copyedit.
